What Is My Watch Worth?
People frequently want to know how much their antique or vintage watch
is worth. Unfortunately, determining your watch's value is a hard
question to answer. These web pages covers many of the general ways
to try and find an answer to this question.

There are several places that offer watch appraisals as a service.
While I haven't used any of them, I suspect that they will give you
about as accurate of an estimate as you can get without actually
buying or selling your watch. The ones that I know of are:
The watchmaker,
Ed Ueberall of
The
Escapement will do appraisals.
The noted watch expert,
Roy Ehrhardt
will appraise watches.
The watch dealer,
Eli's Pocket Watches
will appraise watches.
The watch dealer,
The Time Machine
will appraise watches. (And will do it for free if you pay them to
fix the watch.)
PRO: Good, but not flawless accuracy
CON: Costs a fair amount of money and often the watch
must be sent to the appraiser.
I'm so happy to add Eppraisals.com back to this list! On Mar 20,
2001, Eppraisals.com spammed a bunch of people, including me. In
protest, I removed them from this list with the following comment:
The web service
Eppraisals.com
also does appraisals. These guys spammed a whole bunch of NAWCC
members. Are they getting desperate and about ready to go under?
On June 15, 2001, Eppraisals.com closed their doors.
